Along the Rhine river we visit Koblenz and travel Sourth to Ruedesheim and back (combined boat / train trip). See the palace and castle of the Princes of Sayn-Wittgenstein, a 700 year old Abbey and Butterfly garden. Experience original Roman buildings and the phascinating history of Trier (Mosel) and Saarburg (Saar). When desired we can plan a shopping day in Mettlach at the famous Villeroy & Boch ceramic manufacturer.
Experience castle Schoenburg, the town of Oberwesel (Rhein) and candle light dinner in castle Rheinfels across Loreley rock.
Ahrweiler in the Ahr valley is a fully rebuilt medieval town, the area is famous for its red wine.
